T Track Reloading Bench
I m the kind of guy that likes to get tool and shop systems setup and dialed in before undertaking projects and for daily tasks as well.
T track reloading bench. Press is mounted right on the front edge. Since i have past experince in reloading shot shell ammo i would like to have the option in the future to be able to add a new shot shell press to my bench but be able to move the other reloading equipment to the side of the bench or on the shevles above my work area using your track design on it. So i am considering embedding t tracks in the bench top. I m building a new reloading bench.
I m currently reloading in a spare bedroom. Toolbox is secured to the wall studs with screws. Sunk threaded inserts into the mdf for bolting down press to bench top. Google reloading bench plans and you get 10 zillion results.
Bench is a craftsman toolbox 37 5 tall topped with two 3 4 pieces of mdf covered with a thin foam rubber mat. I am a bit space constrained. There s tiny little pictures on pintrest that don t tell you much and better picture threads that aim to inspire. The bench will have a nearly two inch thick maple butcher block on top.
Until recently i had to bolt down reloading presses on my steel pedestal to use them. I will be mounting accessories as well as a dillon 650 forester co ax and spolar reloader. T track system for the reloading workbench if your space is limited and you would like to use more reloading tools than the t track system gives you the flexibility to do so. You can swap out different tools and put them in a position you need them without permanent changes at your workbench.
I have the perfect benches to attach it to but am. T track reloading bench i ve seen the idea of t track for more modularity on a reloading bench but i haven t heard from anyone using it who isn t trying to make money by giving me their opinions or trying to sell it. That created a lot of extra work to switch. I ve seen other reloaders with similar installations on their benches in various forums videos so i thought i d.
